1.Cross Head F Series Mud Pump
Specifications:
1) materials ASTM A48-83 meehanite cast iron
2) guides are renewable
3) concentricity can be adjusted by adding shims

Features of crosshead:
1) The crosshead and crosshead guide are made of ASTM A48-83 meehanite cast iron featured by good abrasion resistance and long service life.
2) The cross head guide are renewable.
3) Upper and lower guides are used for F-800 and F-1000 mud pumps, so that the concentricity can be adjusted by adding shims beneath the lower guide.
4) F-500 mud pump is the cylindrical structure. The connection between the crosshead and the extension rod is made by using bolted flange. The rigid connection ensures the concentricity of the crosshead and the extension rod.
The blank of crosshead is made of ductile iron whose tensile strength is greater than 600MPa, and it also through a casting process.
When at the working time, crosshead cylindrical slide in the upper and lower guides, the tapered bore which is 11 to 96 at crosshead end compares with crosshead pin.
To ensure a good working condition, there is a high request of shape, position, tolerances and dimensional accuracy to cylindrical and tapered bore in the processing of crosshead.
2.Mud pump crosshead
The Mud pump crosshead is the critical part on the power end of the mud pump. It slides in the upper and lower guide plates, motivating the intermediate draw bar to deliver driving force to the hydraulic end. One of its ends fixes the intermediate draw bar. The cavity connects the small end of the connecting rod through cross head pin.
The material of the mud pump crosshead is nodular cast iron with the strength of extension of more than 600MPa, which ensures high intensity and abrasive resistance.
The difference between crossheads in metric system and British system is the screw hole.
To guarantee close contact, the contact area of bore-hole of the crosshead and the conical surface of the crosshead pin shall be greater than 75%.
